Adewale OgunBadejo, is a seasoned workforce development professional in the area of renewable energy. His primary areas of focus include the just transition to clean energy, building an equitable, inclusive, and diverse workforce, and bridging the gaps in the clean energy workforce ecosystem.
Adewale's renewable energy career started at GRID Alternatives in 2010 and over the last fourteen years, he has successfully made a transition into the clean energy industry. Today, he leads workforce development efforts GRID-wide as the Vice President of Workforce Development. At the national and international levels, he is very heavily involved in GRID's efforts to center EID into industry and is committed to ensuring that solar technology and green career opportunities are accessible to everyone!
Adewale supports the organizational build out of an equitable and inclusive workforce development program that is designed to move local communities forward through human-centric solutions that address environmental and economic challenges. He believes that the necessity to address climate change is also an opportunity to build capacity within local citizenry who can actively participate as we move towards a just transition to clean energy
